Technical difficulties.
I have started to experience a very annoying clicking noise, like static, in my recordings. I spent over an hour the other day, and only recorded 8 minutes of clear speech. I am trying to diagnose and fix the problem. As soon as I get things working right again, I will be able to complete and release "Heretics and Heresies". Sorry for the delay.

I checked it out. I don't think I will record mp3s with it myself, but it is an interesting idea. I never knew that acrobat reader had a read out loud option. That is really nice for vision impaired people. That computer voice could get annoying after a while, but it is surprising how easy it is to understand. Thanks for the info.
this is fantastic. thanks so much for doing this. reading ingersoll's speeches is good, but to hear them spoken, that is truly something else. keep up the good work!
I've been missing you. And I hope you haven't been tiring of this wonderful effort.
Burnout sucks, and I've been there. Here's hoping you get another manic spurt. B-{)
Thanks, Kirk.
Not so much burnout, as life in general. I have been doing work on my house for quite a while, and my recording room has become a storage room. I hope to do some more recordings within the next few months, though. I am still getting a lot of downloads, though. So, meanwhile, I think I will start re-issuing past podcasts, for those who may not have heard them before.
